I love a good deal. And where else to find good deals, but a thrift store? I decided to venture out on a little treasure hunt at GoodWill yesterday. I hadn’t been to one in forever, but I’ve been on the hunt for some boyfriend fit, retro style ripped jeans to no avail. I must’ve tried on every single pair that Forever21 offers and they either just didn’t fit right, or my size was missing. I should probably try some other stores, but I just don’t want to spend any more than $40…and that’s hard to do with jeans. I figured I could find some old mens jeans from a thrift store and distress them myself. This is ultimately what lead me to GoodWill. Unfortunately, I still didn’t find the type of jeans I wanted, but I found these black Levi’s instead for only $7!!! I also found a pair of perfect condition black faux leather thigh high “Pretty Woman” boots – For another blog, another time 😉 I simply used a little sand paper and scissors to cut some holes and add a little distressing. Lesson learned from this is you might not find what you’re looking for at a thrift store, but you still might find something good.
